Camp Twin Lakes

This past weekend was exceptionally busy! I helped out a dear friend with a wedding at Dunwoody Baptist church and then the reception at the Dunwoody Country Club. It was awesome! Well, on Sunday I headed down to Camp Twin Lakes to do a little volunteering. My job was to pick up a whole bunch of logs and get them "mulched." Honestly, I felt like Rocky training for a fight but not in Russia running in snow while the KGB attempt to follow me. As you know, Camp Twin Lakes is a place that children and adults with disabilities can go throughout the year. The facilities are awesome and very well kept. The reason that my group was mulching some wood is because the trails have to be easily accessed by those with wheelchairs. It really nice to see a place that is set up specifically for those who would not have the opportunity to experience those activities that are traditionally built for children without disabilities. Visit their website and take sometime off work and go volunteer!
