National Donut Day 2010

National Donut Day 2010: Is today June 4 and it  is celebrated by Krispy Kreme and Dunkin Donuts in a very special way: by giving away free donuts.

The giveaway is all over the United States, and it’s a good reason to celebrate the National Donut Day. Participating locations will give away one donut per person, only today, on the national day of the delicious product.

Krispy Kreme is doing this because they are celebrating the holiday and also the sweetest day of the year. On the other hand Dunkin Donuts is celebrating its 60th birthday this way.

To get your donut from Krispy Kreme, you just need to visit the nearest participating store, while at Dunkin Donuts you will have to buy a drink at participating stores.

To find out the list of participating stores, all you have to do is to go to the respective websites of Dunkin Donuts and Krispy Kreme and use the “find a store” feature. It’s as easy as it could be and you’ll get your donut in no time.

Krispy Kreme has another reason to celebrate – their profits in the first quarter of 2010, that allow them to be quite optimistic.
