A Trip Of Disappointment To Watch The Atlanta Hawks Loose

by Peter on May 10, 2011

Genevieve and I headed down to the Philips arena for game 3 of the Hawks vs Bulls playoffs. The arena was pumping with all the white shirt wearing fans for the white out. There were a few things that surprised me. The first one was the number of Bulls fans that came. It was impressive. I don’t know why I thought there wouldn’t be many Bulls fans but I did. They were in full force and they had reason to be. The second surprise was how well the Bulls played. The surprise came from the fact that the Hawks beat the Bulls the night before. I don’t know what happened but the Hawks were timid. When a shot was wide open they would pass it to someone else. They didn’t want to get in the paint. The Bulls dominated because they got into the paint and made baskets.

When the Bulls were ahead by 14 points and there was 8mins to go, we and a great number of fans left. We left because the Bulls weren’t giving up baskets and the Hawks couldn’t get any. Unless the Bulls missed every opportunity to shoot there was no way the Hawks could pull it out.
